Diane and Billy's Elopement at Old Edwards Inn

This past Sunday, I had the unique honor of being a part of the most intimate of wedding ceremonies. Diane and Billy eloped at the Old Edwards Inn. Their friend and minister, Sarah, did an inspirational job with the ceremony and it really meant a lot to the couple that their close friend conducted the ceremony (and I could tell it meant a lot to Sarah, too).  And it meant a lot to me that they chose me to be the other invited guest to document such a meaningful day in their lives.

Diane and Billy were engaged at the Westin Sun Dial in Atlanta, GA (photos beautifully done by Anne and Dan photography).  Diane describes herself as a "city girl" and Billy as a "country boy" but one hour with this couple and I could tell that they were just right for each other.

Ok I'll let the photos tell the rest of the story...

Sarah (above) thoughtfully strings Diane and Billy's rings around her neck for safe-keeping.

Kirk Moore of Oakleaf flower and garden did a fantastic job with the flowers.

Diane and Billy share their first communion as husband and wife (below).

I want to make it clear that this photo above was NOT posed!! This is just how cute this couple is!!

Diane and Billy, thank you so much for including me in your very special love-filled day! I wish you a life full of love and happiness!

Tiffany and Dustin at Biltmore Inn

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of being a part of the wedding of Tiffany Thompson and Dustin Kocher at the Biltmore Inn

It was a perfect fall day, the air was nice and cold, but the sun was still warm during the day. The colors in the leaves were just beginning to change this weekend (they are really vibrant now).

Tiffany and Dustin and their friends and family were so fun to work with (and Tiffany made a stunning bride!)

Here are a few highlights from the day:

The ladies from Suraj Salon did a great job with hair/makeup.

There was an incredible view of the mountains from the hotel room (below).

The bridesmaids (and flower girls) watch another couple get married earlier in the day on the vista (below).

I loved that the cover of the Citizen-Times
Saturday had a photograph of the Biltmore Estate and the leaves changing (below).

We did a first look outside at the Inn where Dustin and Tiffany could see each other for the first time of the day (below)

Tiffany is a gorgeous bride! Bloom room did a great job with the flowers, I loved the soft hint of fall colors.

Tara Jordan did a great job making sure every little detail was perfection!

Flowers by the Bloom Room.

I just love that you can see the Biltmore Inn so clearly in this little girl's rockin sunglasses! (below)

Tim Lolly served as the officiant (Below) and is always a joy to work with.

I now pronounce you husband and wife!

Tiffany and her mother (above).

Tiffany's grandfather stole the show when he lead the hat dance (below).

Dylan Skidmore served as the DJ for the evening and kept everyone on the dance floor all night.

Tiffany and Dustin, thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your gorgeous wedding day! I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Another big thanks to asssociate Kate Monroe, who was my second photographer today. Thanks Kate :)
