Portraits: Todd and Toler

I spent this afternoon with Todd and Toler Gosnell at the Botanical Gardens at UNC-Asheville. Toler, age 3, is a cutie pie and he was really excited about going swimming after the photo session! I had so much fun with this father/son duo today and here are my favorite shots of the day:

The Seibert Family

This past Saturday, I spent the morning with the Seibert family at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC. This morning was completely gorgeous and all the new spring blooms were incredibly vibrant! The Seibert family was celebrating patriarch Greg's 60th Birthday over Easter weekend this year. Nikki and Dan (above). Nikki is a friend of mine from high school growing up in Raleigh, NC and I had so much hanging out with she and her family on Saturday!

Natalie, my adorable baby sister!

My baby sister, Natalie, has been my muse since she was born! I got to visit with her and her mom on Saturday (Nov. 14) to take some photos for their holiday cards for this year. Natalie is so much fun and a cutie pie (don't take my word for it....see the photos for yourself!)

Natalie's very proud to be as tall as her sister Sarah now (not a huge accomplishment, since I'm only 5'3" but a feat none-the-less)!

A couple weeks earlier, I took some photos of Natalie with my dad and his wife, Rebecca up at their home in Asheville (below). I thought I would also include a few of these on the post.

Ashley, Josh, and Baby Levi

While spending some time in Raleigh, I got to visit with my friends Ashley and Josh and their new baby boy, Levi. I had so much fun meeting and hanging out with this incredibly happy little baby boy! Below are some highlights from our shoot this past Saturday, Nov. 14.

Ashley and Josh admit to being incredibly lucky to have been blessed with such a happy and easy-going baby!! I have to agree that Levi was one of the happiest babies I've ever seen! He didn't get fussy at all during my visit (and a baby's first photo session can sometimes be a scary thing!) 

I wanted to include a few photos from Ashley and Josh's wedding (below) which took place last February at the chapel at Meredith College here in Raleigh, NC. It's so great to be a part of a couple's wedding day, but it's even better to keep up with the couples after the wedding day and see their family grow!
