Jessica and Greg at the Grand Bohemian

Lauren, here! I had so much fun with Jessica Lee and Greg VanMarter who were married Saturday, May 22 at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville. The gorgeous hotel was the perfect backdrop for their elegant wedding. My favorite moment of the day was watching Greg's face light up when he saw Jessica walking down the aisle. It was just the way every bride would love to see her groom react. These two were absolutely smitten with each other!

Greg also treated everyone to a lip-synched performance of "Ice Ice Baby" during the reception and everyone had a blast! Thank you, Jessica and Greg, for allowing me the chance to be a part of your big day! And again, thanks to my fabulous assistant, G!

Later in the night, Sarah met the couple out at the Bier Garden for a more informal celebration.

Wedding: Julia and Sean

When you're around some couples it's totally obvious that they are best friends. This is how I felt around Julia and Sean: Beatles-loving UNC graduates and now newlyweds! Julia and Sean met at UNC during their freshman year while working on a play together, Children of Eden. They tied the knot this past Saturday at On Broadway in Downtown Asheville.

Below are some highlights from this love-filled day:

Above, Sean holds a pocket watch that Julia gave him as a wedding gift. "All you need is love" is engraved on the cover.

Julia started off the day at Adorn Hair Salon in downtown Asheville.

Julia walking out of Adorn. I love the sign on the window that reads "Something Old, Something New, Something Uniquely You."

Sean and his groomsmen get ready at the Four Points Downtown Sheraton

Sean shows us his personality!

Groomsmen Aaron arrives fresh off the plane from Peru and Sean gives him his groomsmen gift (below).

The Ceremony at On Broadways. Reverend Darr Conradson did a fabulous job with the ceremony.

VERY sweet first kiss!!

After the ceremony, Julia and Sean ride in the limo and we take some couples photos.

There was a little bit of rain on Saturday, but we didn't let it stop us!

Dinner at On Broadways was delicious!

Julia and Sean exit! The couple is currently honeymooning in Jamaica! Thanks so much to you and your family for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

A special thanks to my assistant, Brittany, who is back for a second season with Whitmeyer Photography and we're so glad to have her!! Thanks Brittany and good work!
