Tiffany and Jason: Engaged

This Saturday morning, I celebrated the first official day of spring with Tiffany and Jason! The weather was perfect on Saturday and we had so much fun touring around the Biltmore Estate and getting excited about Tiffany and Jason's upcoming wedding at the Grand Bohemian this coming September 24th.

Tiffany jumped right up on the edge of the pond (above) with absolutely no fear (although I have to admit that I had some of my own!). Tiffany is one of those fun-loving brides (and Jason one of those grooms) that every photographer dreams of having! She had some of her own ideas about photos and laughed and had a good time the entire day! I had so much fun with these two!

Blair and Garrett Engagement

Every once in a while, my job gives me the opportunity to reunite with good friends. That was the case today when I met with my good friend, Blair Wicker from high school and her fiancee, Garrett at the Rose Garden in Raleigh, NC. Garrett and Blair have been dating for about 3 years now and are tying the knot April 17th of next year in the Outer Banks. I will be honored to be attending the festivities on the coast as the photographer and was so excited to see my old friend happy and in love! Here are a few highlights from our shoot:

Traci's been busy with engagements!

Associate Photographer, Traci White (Staff Photographer for the Danville Register and Bee), has been busy shooting some fabulous engagement photos. Let's start with her shoot with Sarah and Jake.  Traci met Sarah and Jake in Hendersonville last week to shoot their engagement photos. Here's what Traci had to say about the day: "It was a lovely day in Hendersonville, they picked a beautiful spot with lots of props around the play with for the photos and they were very willing to indulge and even suggest some of the sillier ideas, like the canoeing photo and the life jackets. The light was golden and they were just a fun, goofy couple to work with. I'm looking so forward to shooting their wedding :)"

Malinda and Nick Engagement

I had the pleasure of spending Saturday morning photographing Malinda and Nick's engagement portraits at the Biltmore. The couple is getting married at the Biltmore's Garden Conservatory on October 2nd of this year. The wedding will be coordinated by Tara Jordan of Weddings With Tara. Allie, their dog, also joined us for a few photos! After their engagement portraits, Malinda and Nick and their parents enjoyed tasting all the wonderful foods at the Biltmore restaurants to decide what their guests would be eating on the big day! We did have a little bit of a rain on Saturday, but luckily we were able to get some good photographing in before it began to pour. Nick was a true gentleman and protected Malinda from the raindrops!! (see photo!). My little sister, Natalie, also came along as my assistant Saturday (pictured) and helped take care of Allie.
