Thiel-Fairchild Wedding

This past Saturday, I spent the day with Telana Thiel and Jacob Fairchild at The Fields at Blackberry Cove in Weaverville, NC on their nine year anniversary of meeting each other. The two met in high school in Wilkes County and have been in love since.

The day started with happy tears and ended with happy tears, with many smiles and hugs in between. Before putting on any makeup (as to not ruin it), Telana and her mother exchange gifts and heartfelt cards (below)

Mother of the Groom (below) shares in the moment with a few tears of her own!

After wiping away the tears, Telana proceeds to get ready for the big day and puts on her make up.
While getting her hair done (by the fabulous Cody Louise Pettry) Telana helps her mother with her makeup.
Telana gets the special "borrowed" gift of a rosary from her bridesmaid and friend (below)

Telana holds tight to her something old, new and borrowed (I was told the blue was hidden!) (below). The Old is her baby bonnet, the new is a monogrammed hanky given to her by one of her bridesmaids, and the borrowed is the rosary in her hand-given to Telana by another of her bridesmaids.

Then, The favor is returned.

The flowers on Saturday were artfully done by the fabulous Mark and Bobby of BobbyMarkDesigns.

Giedre did a great job catching this moment of a proud mother watching her daughter's excitement before walking down the aisle (below)

Telana made these special hankies for her bridesmaids (below) and they definitely came in handy for wiping tears.

We did it!

The wedding party!!
While taking the above photo, I was walking backwards with my camera and my left foot fell into a 2 foot deep hole!! See the damage below!! Note to Self: before walking backwards be sure to make sure there aren't any gigantic holes behind you!!
This moment below was fabulous!! Jacob and Telana shared a private moment before entering the reception. The two had no idea I was watching! (below)

Telana put a lot of work into making the gifts and other decorations for the wedding.

Ring bearer, JT, brands himself with a "Fairchild" sticker (below)

There were many heartfelt speeches at the reception--it was obvious that Telana and Jacob are loved very much by their friends and family!
The speech by Telana's younger brother (below) was especially moving in my opinion.

There were lots of hugs at the end of the night!

A special thank to my assistant, G! (below)

Dunn-McNeil Wedding

Saturday I made my way to Hendersonville (during the apple festival, I might add) to be a part of the wedding of Emily Dunn and Ryan McNeil at the Cedars. It was a fantastically gorgeous day and a great time all around! Jennifer from Verge Events was there and did a fantastic job organizing everything!

Emily and Ryan were engaged last Christmas when Ryan hid a ring in the Christmas Tree for Emily to find. The couple met and live in NYC and had many friends travel from the big apple to Hendersonville, where all the best apples grow, to be a part of their wedding day.

The day started out at Emily's parents home where she and her sisters had their hair and make up done (below).
The window light was fantastic!

Emily's Sister, Kristin and her son (the ring bearer), Jack walk down the aisle (below)

This part of the ceremony was so priceless!! Jack began dancing to the violin music in the middle of the aisle! (below)

Emily's father, William, walks her down the aisle

We did it!!

The Cake Toppers (below) were made especially to resemble Emily and Ryan

What a sweet mother-son dance!!! (below)
And Emily gives her dad a kiss (below)
Sons of Ralph put on a fantastic show and had guests dancing all night!!

And more dancing!!

Emily's mother, Myrna's "breakfast club" friends sing Emily and Ryan a personalized song (below)

Emily and Ryan's friends gather for a group photo (below)

Emily waves farewell at the end of the night! What a fabulous wedding! Thanks for letting me be a part of the festivities!
Another special thanks to my assistant, Giedre, who always is a pleasure to work with and does a fantastic job!! Thanks, G! (below)

Meredith Tracy: Mommie-to-be

On my way back west after my weekend in Raleigh, I made a stop in Burlington, NC at the Burlington City Park to visit with former bride, Meredith Tracy and her belly! Meredith and Brian Tracy were married in Asheville last July at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, with the reception at the Biltmore Estate. It was so incredibly wonderful so see Meredith today! She and Brian are expecting a little girl to arrive in about five weeks. Below are a few highlights from our shoot.

Below are a few of Brian and Meredith's photos from their wedding last July.
The photo on the right was also featured in this year's Asheville Wedding Guide
