Gordon-Widhalm Wedding

This past Saturday, December 19th, amidst record-setting amounts of snow, Jennifer Gordon and Anthony Widhalm tied the knot at the Basilica of St. Lawrence in Asheville. All morning, I couldn't stop singing to myself, "It's a nice day for a white wedding!!" The snow was absolutely gorgeous and I really believe that this is going to be one of those fabulous wedding day stories that Jennifer and Anthony will share with their grandchildren one day!

The day started off at the Crown Plaza Hotel (below) where Jennifer is lacing up her snow boots, ready to venture out to get her hair done at L'eau de Vie Salon.

Jennifer's father picks her up from the salon (above) and they have the cutest moment between the two of them (below) with a pinky promise. Believe me, this is not posed!! I was just lucky to have my camera ready to witness it!

Earlier in the day, Jennifer's father cleared the walkway to the basilica (below) so that everyone could come in safely. It's always such a fabulous show of love to see everyone pitching in to help make someone's day special and today was full of this type of giving.

There were so many adorable babies at Jennifer and Anthony's wedding. I turned around for a moment during the ceremony to see three fathers calming their babies (below).

Jennifer and Anthony kept giving each other this look of "we did it!!" It was so touching! (below)

The kids were having a blast on the dance floor!

During the cake cutting, the children were all lined up ready to get cake (below)! It was one of the cutest wedding moments I've ever witnessed!
And they could not keep their eyes off that cake during the toasts (below)!

There was a lot of peeking out the window at the snowy scene below!

Jennifer really was quite a dancer and knew how to let loose and have fun (below)! I caught Anthony watching her adoringly a few times during the night. It was really obvious that these two are just crazy about each other!

Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your fantastic white wedding! I will always remember my very first snowy wedding day! Another thanks to Art, Jennifer's brother-in-law, who was kind enough to pick me up on Saturday in his four wheel drive car! Thanks so much, Art and welcome home!
