Wedding: Morgan Allison and Jon Morgan (Lauren)

Lauren Here! I was really lucky to get to shoot the wedding of Morgan Allison and Jon Morgan at Hidden River Events in Asheville on Saturday, September 26th. Morgan and Jon are high school sweethearts from Weaverville, NC and are truly a photographer's dream couple: warm, easy-going, and completely photogenic! They both put me at ease immediately and I felt as if I had known them for years! They weren't even phased by the fact that it rained buckets all over their plans to get married outside. The ceremony was moved under the tent at Hidden River and was absolutely beautiful  (with the misty mountains in the background!!) The reception was full of crazy moves and great times! I found myself getting a little weepy as Morgan and her mother said a tearful goodbye at the end of the night. Thanks so much, Morgan and Jon, for letting me take part in such a memorable day! Katharyn Rohde and Foster Barker (Lauren)

Lauren Here! A couple of weeks ago (Sept. 19), Kate Monroe and I had the amazing opportunity to photograph the wedding of Katharyn Rohde and Foster Barker in Raleigh, NC. The wedding took place at White Memorial Presbyterian Church with the reception at Carolina Country Club. Katharyn and Foster were a fabulous couple to work with and are so cute together! As soon as they walked out of the ceremony, Foster kept saying, "we're married, babe!" Their wedding was exquisite, gorgeous, and incredibly elegant! Thanks so much for letting me play a role in your fabulous day! Below are some highlights:

Wedding: Sarah and Jake (Traci)

Traci Here! On Sept. 26, Sarah Reibold and Jake Shaw were kind enough to have me as their photographer for their beautiful wedding at Champion Hills Country Club in Hendersonville, NC on a foggy autumn afternoon. Sarah and Jake have such great senses of humor and are so clearly meant for each other--I had a wonderful time being a part of their wedding. I had the opportunity to meet Sarah and Jake in July and take some engagement photos of the couple before shooting their wedding.  Despite the rain,  Sarah and Jake and all their family and friends had a great time and celebrated a wonderful couple! Below are some highlights from the day.

Sarah and Jake both work as pharmacists in Hendersonville, NC, so their wedding favors were pill bottles filled with personalized M&Ms with the couple's faces on them and the date of the "establishment" of Shaw's Pharmacy" (below) 

Jake's father, also the minister of the wedding, helps Jake fasten his cuff links (below) 

The windows inside the main hall gave a gorgeous view of the misty Blue Ridge Mountains during the ceremony (below)
